Bund deutsch-jüdischer Jugend

Founded
December 1933
Dissolution
January 1937
Description
Founded in December 1933 as an alliance of several associations. Despite the originally non-Zionist orientation, the increasing pressure from the regime caused preparation and training for pioneering work in agriculture in Palestine to become more and more important, which is why the “Groß-Breesen” training centre was opened in 1936. In the same year, the organization was renamed “Ring, Bund der jüdischen Jugend” and finally dissolved in January 1937. The Ring had up to 5000 members in 16 regional organizations.
