Knut Bergbauer is a social pedagogue and collaborator on the DFG project “Between Aliyah and Escape: Jewish Youth Organizations and Zionist Education under the Nazi Regime and pre-State Israel from 1933-1945” at the TU Braunschweig. His research focuses on the Jewish youth movement in Germany, the history of the labor movement and resistance against the Nazis. His doctorate project deals with the “Jewish Youth Movement in Breslau 1912-1938”.
